Hello Wrestlingjunkies,
today my guest comes from Brooklyn ,NY, USA
Please welcome the NY Knockout
Hello and thank you for this interview.
Can you please tell the fans who you are?
I’m the NY Knockout Nikki

How do you come to the decision to be a Female Pro wrestler?
I came to the decision of being a pro-wrestler when I was around 18 years old. I was always a fan of WWF and GLOW as a kid, but then I stopped watching it until around 17 years old. I became such a fan of the athleticism mixed with the theatrics I knew it was something I had to try. I was going to college on a basketball/softball scholarship at the time, and promised my mom I would finish school first before I would start wrestling training.
Why do you call yourself NY Knockout? Is there a story behind the Name?
The NY knockout was actually the name that was given to me around 7 years back by another wrestler/promoter at the time, American Wild Child. I feel that I’ve grown into the name. I’m originally from Brooklyn, NY, and when I moved out to Los Angeles my accent and attitude is what made me stand out. The Knockout part I particularly grew into in the past couple of years, when I started boxing as well
When you get inside the Ring what is your Favorite Rule,Heel or Face? And why?
I think I make a great heel because I was naturally born that way. People love to hate me. I’m the bad girl. I’m a very straightforward person. I tell the truth, even when I lie. And a lot of people can’t handle that.

Trained by the Ballard Brothers,Misteriosio and Los Luchas you found your way inside
the ring. When was your InRing debut and who was your opponent?
My very first singles match was with Erica Porter aka Jungle Grrrl from WOW. She no longer competes in the ring, but is still a hero of mine.
After the match and i think you was nervos, what will you say when you now think about
this match was good and what was bad?
I feel as if a match is good if I win, and it’s bad if I lose. Plain and simple
Is WWE or TNA in the USA an Aim for you? And which Promotion is your Favorite?
I don’t have necessarily a “favorite” promotion. I do love working in Mexico, but I also love working in the states as well. As long as I’m having fun and entertaining a crowd that’s all that really matters
In my eyes the TNA have the better Womens Division in Wrestling. But there are many
other Female Wrestling promotions i the world. You also wrestle for GLOW.What can you
tell me about this time?
I did a brief stint with the new Generation of GLOW, in which we had one live show at the El Rey Theatre in Los Angeles. My character was Temple Doom, which was a tomb-raider type character. It was actually a dream come true to work with women such as Hollywood, Roxy Astor, Daisy and Babe the Farmer’s daughter. These were the women that I watched Saturday mornings when I was young, and they were super heroes to me.
When you look in the future is there anything you want to do in wrestling or a match
you are dreaming for?
I’d love to work for Shimmer, which is obviously the most respectable female promotion around. I’d love to continue to work for promotions such as Wrestlicious, Lucha Las Vegas, Perros Del Mal, and hopefully one day I’d love to work for AAA. But wrestling is constantly changing, so you never know what else may pop up in the next year. I just want to have travel, meet new people and have great matches.
Mostly you wrestle in the USA but you also worked in Mexico and Japan. What was your
personal highlight in this countrys?
My highlight in Japan was tagging with Nattie Neidhart. She’s an amazing worker as well as a genuinely nice person. I have a lot of great memories working in Mexico, my first time being for the LLF, where I got to work shows with girls like Christy Ricci, Sarah Stock, Lufisto, and tons of other really talented women. Another highlight that sticks out is being able to work in Zacatecas for Perros Del Mal. Zacatecas is the hometown of one of my trainers and really good friend, Zokre of Los Luchas.
And when you look at your time in Wrestling what was your personal highlight inside
the ring?
There are so many personal highlights I have in Wrestling I really can’t pinpoint one. A lot of them have to do with what wrestling has led me in to. I had a documentary filmed on me called Luchadors: Fighting for a Dream, that featured myself as well as Aaron Aguilera. I also had a French film crew follow me around in October for a TV show called Tellement Vrai that came out absolutely amazing. And I was featured in a web series called Full Nelson that you can watch online. I also really enjoyed working with the girls of Wrestlicious. And every time I travel somewhere new or work with new people I consider that a highlight.

Many Wrestler can told some good Road Trip Storys, can you tell the fans on of yours?
As far as roadtrip stories, I have some really, really good ones. But you’ll have to wait until my book comes out…
Where do you wrestle now?
Right now I wrestle all over. I’ve been doing shows for Half-Pint Brawlers in Las Vegas as part of the Adrenaline Unleashed promotion. AU also has Extreme Thing coming up which is an annual show we do. I’m excited to work for Magnificent Ladies of Wrestling for the first time in Memphis. I also have a lot of other projects I’m working on, as well as training for my first amateur fight as a boxer.
