The Wrestling Observer is reporting that former AWA wrestler, referee, boxer and Anoka County Commissioner Scott LeDoux has passed away aged 62. He was diagnosed with ALS or Lou Gehrig’s Disease in August 2008. During his boxing career he went up against Muhammad Ali, George Foreman, Ken Norton, Larry Holmes and Leon Spinks. LeDoux retired with a record of 33-13-4 (21 knockouts).
In a written statement, a LeDoux spokesperson wrote:
"It breaks my heart to share the sad news that Scott passed at 3:29 pm [Thursday]. Thank you all for every prayer and every thought you have given to him during his battle."
