Interview Bacardi - Harder, faster and ready to go

Postby Bernd Lorenz aka Tazzmaschine » 25.03.2012, 08:48

Hello Wrestlingjunkies,
today we have a guest from the UK.
Oct 2009 she gives us her first interview and now she´s back.
Please welcome back :Bacardi.

Hello Hailee and thank you for your time for this interview.

First how you doing the last 2 years?

The last 2 years have been a little bit tough, with my knee injury having to have 4 surgeries to repair it, it was hard to get back in the right frame of mind to get back in the ring. Luckily know it is healed up, and I am back in action.

After some setbacks you are back and looks better and determined i have never seen before.
You have lost some weights and it looks that you trained hard. What was the reason behind
the transformation?

I wanted to look the best I have ever done, and I wanted to be better in the ring, which I feel the weight loss has helped with in a great way. The weight was holding me back, in looks and in skill.

How would you describe your new wrestling style?

My new style is much harder, faster and ready to go. I am a lot more hardcore than I was before.

Mainstream Wrestling. In my eyes the TNA puts more on wrestling and the WWE more on the look
of the female worker. In your opinion, how far do good looks get a female in this industry?

I think looks are almost more important than skill these days in the mainstream companies. It is a sad thing to say, but it seems that only those girls who are slim and beautiful make it anywhere. Unless you have AMAZING wrestling skill, you won't make it into WWE or TNA without a great body or beautiful face.

If you could train with any wrestler in the entire world right now, who would it be and why?

Sweet Saraya - because I trained with her years ago and she is amazing, or HHH - Because he has the years of experience in this business in all aspects.

When you look in the future is there anything you want to do in wrestling or a match you are
dreaming for?

I would love to Face Sweet Saraya or team up with her at some point, she is an amazing wrestler.
I would like to wrestle in America too, even if it is on the independant scene.

What are your thoughts on promotions such as EVE and WILD here in europe?

I haven't seen much of EVE, so can not pass comment on them, but WILD I have been following for a while and I think they are doing some great work for women's wrestling right now.

Where do you wrestle right now or next?

I wrestle in a few places around the UK, including TAW and UKW.

When a booker or company wants you, where can they contact you?

The easiest way to contact me is through my Facebook fan page http://www.facebook.com/BacardiWrestler

Wrestler on the road have many times funny storys of this time.Do you have a funny one for
us who you could share with us?

The only one I can think of is the terror we reigned on the staff in Tesco supermarket at 5.30am whilst waiting for McDonalds to open at 6am for Breakfast. It's quite funny having a group of wrestlers in the supermarket in their pyjamas.

When your career has run its course, what do you want to be remembered for the most?

I would like to be remembered for my skill in the ring.

Will we see you back in action here in germany?

I would love to come back to Germany and wrestle again. Lets hope it is sometime soon.

At the last something to say to your fans ?

I would like to thank them for supporting me, as without them, I would not be in the ring. This is all for them.
